Parent guide
Tourney Trail for parents
One app for the whole tournament trip. Paste a link, get the plan.
The links you'll paste
Tournament link
From the tournament's website
- 1Open the tournament website.
- 2Copy the link at the top of your browser (the long www… address).
- 3In Tourney Trail, tap My Trips and paste it in the box.
You get: the app reads the dates, city and fields, and plans the trip — when to leave, drive or fly, hotels, rental car and flights, ready to tap.
Stay to Play link
Also on the tournament's website
- 1On the tournament website, open the Hotels page (it usually says Stay to Play).
- 2Copy the link from that page.
- 3Paste it in the Stay to Play box on your trip.
You get: the official team hotels with the tournament's prices, one tap to book.
TeamSnap calendar link
From the TeamSnap app
- 1Open TeamSnap and tap your team.
- 2Tap Schedule at the bottom.
- 3Tap Subscribe (or "Export / Sync calendar"), then Copy link.
- 4In Tourney Trail: My Team → Schedule → paste it → Connect.
You get: all games and practices in one place, updated on their own when the coach changes something. Add reminders before each game too.
Spond schedule
Via Google or iCloud calendar
- 1Spond doesn't give out a link like TeamSnap does. In Spond: tap your profile picture → Calendar settings → allow access, so Spond's games land in your phone's calendar.
- 2On a computer, open Google Calendar (calendar.google.com) → the gear ⚙ → Settings → tap the calendar Spond fills → copy the "Secret address in iCal format" link.
- 3In Tourney Trail: My Team → Schedule → paste it → Connect.
You get: the same as with TeamSnap — all games and practices in one place, updated on their own when the coach changes something.

Put Tourney Trail on your phone — free
It works like a real app: the Tourney Trail icon sits on your home screen and it opens full screen, without the browser bars. Takes under a minute, and it's free.
iPhone
- 1Open Safari and go to tourneytrail.com
- 2Tap the Share button at the bottom — the square with the arrow pointing up ⬆︎
- 3Scroll down the list and tap "Add to Home Screen"
- 4Tap Add — the Tourney Trail icon now sits on your home screen, like any other app
Needs Safari (not Chrome) for this. If the Share button isn't there, open Safari first.
Android
- 1Open Chrome and go to tourneytrail.com
- 2Tap the ⋮ three dots at the top right
- 3Tap "Add to Home screen" (it may say "Install app")
- 4Tap Add — the Tourney Trail icon now sits on your home screen, like any other app
Works in Chrome. On some phones it says "Install app" instead — same thing.
Once it's on your phone, everything saves as you use it — your trips, your team, your schedule. It needs internet when you open it (that's how it gets the latest schedule and weather).
